Reporting to the Head of Portfolio Steering and Business Analytics, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing business process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. You will balance standardization with individual business needs, managing stakeholder expectations and driving alignment across diverse business functions. You will also ensure that change management principles are effectively applied in transformation initiatives, maintaining agility in a rapidly changing regulatory and business environment. Some Of Your Specific Responsibilities Could Include:
Leading efforts to strategically steer the regional portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Analyzing portfolio performance and providing high-level recommendations for optimization. Conducting detailed data analysis to interpret financial information and generate comprehensive reports that provide actionable insights. Ensuring compliance with global standards and governance frameworks, including internal standards and external regulatory requirements. Developing proposals for improving the Allianz Commercial Operating Framework and ensuring alignment with industry regulations. Identifying operational business improvement opportunities related to organization, business processes, and IT applications and supporting the creation of project proposals, including cost/benefit analysis and resource planning. Compiling and sharing best practices across departments, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Serving as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements. What You'll Bring To The Role
A minimum of 3 years of experience in assisting with portfolio management and optimization and conducting data analysis and generating insights in the insurance industry. Experience in identifying and driving business process improvements and organizational capabilities. Ability to analyze data sets and provide actionable insights using Excel and Power BI. Strong analytical, numerical and adaptive problem solving skills, using logical and methodological approach. Ability to identify problems, evaluate solutions, and implement effective strategies. Ability to make strategic decisions and drive organizational change. Project management skills, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and timely delivery. Ability to utilize AI tools to support day-to-day tasks, improve efficiency and contribute to data-driven decision making. Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with an ability to develop and positively influence key, strategic position holders across locations and functions; and Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Mathematics/Statistics/Finance and/or Actuarial background. The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AzC total compensation package. As part of our comprehensive compensation and highly rated benefits programs, employees are also eligible for annual performance-based cash incentive awards.
