Overview
A leading global law firm is seeking a highly qualified mid-level Copyright and Trademark Litigation Associate to join its Intellectual Property & Technology group in New York. This role focuses on copyright and trademark litigation matters for clients across a broad range of industries nationwide.
Responsibilities
Lead and support copyright and trademark litigation matters in federal and state courts Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs Manage discovery and assist with case strategy development Advise clients on IP enforcement, defense strategies, and related litigation risks Collaborate with cross-office teams on complex IP and technology-related disputes
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school 3–6 years of copyright and trademark litigation experience Experience with patent, platform liability, or privacy litigation is a plus Strong academic credentials and excellent research, writing, and analytical skills Prior experience at a national law firm preferred Admission to and good standing with the New York or California bar Ability to work onsite in the designated office location and comply with firm employment policies
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $260,000 – $365,000 annually Competitive compensation, discretionary bonus eligibility, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, disability coverage, 401(k), paid time off, and additional voluntary benefit programs.
