What We Are Looking For: We are seeking an entry level Securities Lending Associate to join our Securities Lending team in New York. To be successful in the Securities Lending team involves many diverse skill sets. Most importantly, the Associate will need to work with the sales traders to identify opportunities in demand in the securities lending market and meeting the demands of the business.
As a Securities Lending team member, the journey begins supporting the desk with opportunities to train and grow into the role. The Associate will be taught the fundamental skills needed to succeed – from acquiring, building and managing client relationships to humanizing financial interactions – and will be equipped with everything needed to move through the stages of development to ultimately speaking with clients and helping the team achieve their financial targets.
What You'll Be Doing:
Collaborate with experienced sales traders to gain knowledge in the role
Earn your FINRA licenses that will allow you to speak with clients
Build connections and relationships while working in the center of the financial universe, tapping into a range of experts, regulators, product, and technology professionals
Incorporate relevant regulatory due diligence into daily tasks
Learn how to take ownership of revenue generation
Assist in the development of new opportunitiesAssist with execute strategies
Help maintain revenue targets

Conscientious and able to efficiently manage time and capacity
A self-motivated, highly driven and entrepreneurial personality
Proficiency with analytical tools (Excel, Power BI, Google Data), databases, and financial analysis software tools
Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls; sales training provided
Networking skills needed to build a customer /trading network preferred
Minimum Qualifications:
Must obtain FINRA Series 7 License within 90 calendar days
