
Regional Sales Manager

Our client, a well‑respected vertically integrated billion‑dollar protein manufacturer that has enlisted our assistance to help them identify a talented individual for a Foodservice Regional Account Manager in the Midwest. The successful candidate will emphasize growth through development of new customers as well as the maintenance and growth of existing retail customers.
What You’ll Own
Drive incremental growth across MI, OH, IN, IL, WI, IA, MO, KY, PA, NE, WV and KS.
Expand penetration with distribution partners and regional multi‑unit operators
Develop and execute strategic growth plans including innovation launches and promotional activity
Lead and manage broker relationships across the region
Build strong relationships with US Foods, Sysco, Shamrock and regional distributors
Create meaningful partnerships with operators by aligning their needs with portfolio solutions
Represent the brand at food shows, operator meetings and industry events
Manage your sales pipeline and forecasting through CRM
Who Thrives Here
5+ years of foodservice sales experience
Proven hunter mentality with a track record of closing new business
Experience working with regional multi‑unit operators
Protein experience strongly preferred
Strong broker management skills
Culinary background is a plus
Comfortable with travel (approximately 75 to 80 percent)
You’ll ideally be located in Illinois, Michigan or the Kansas City area for optimal access to the territory.
