Leasing Agent The Residential Leasing Agent is responsible for the leasing and marketing results and for maintaining positive resident relations of the residential community. Scheduling onsite tours, responding to lease inquires and ensuring tenant satisfaction. Strong communication skills, customer focus and ability to handle various administrative tasks.

Duties & Responsibilities

Prospects/ Leasing apartments

Prepares Leasing File /completes paperwork and file for final approval by Leasing Manager

File the completed file after signed off by Leasing Manager

Resident relations/assistance

Answering Phones

Maintenance work orders (open and close)

Courtesy patrol memos - to be entered into Yardi for documentation

Service/ Emotional support animals -need documentation to be uploaded to Yardi & printed for file

Corporate suite rentals

Market surveys

Office Inventory - shortages or needs to be given to Administrative Assistant to order

Payables/ Mail or packages - Opens daily mail as per SOP

Dispatch Emergencies

Opening & closing office

Work Order Follow up

All other tasks assigned by Community Manager, Assistant Manager or Leasing Manager

Strong knowledge of property leasing processes and real estate principles.

Effective phone etiquette for professional communication with tenants and stakeholders.

Ability to manage conflicts effectively while maintaining a positive environment.

Experience

Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building rapport with clients.

Proficient in administrative tasks, including data entry and record keeping.

Yardi experience a plus

Familiarity with property maintenance procedures is a plus.

Sales skills to effectively market properties and close leasing deals.
