Business Development Representatives, also known as Delegate Market Strategists,
play a critical role in driving the success of our events. Our end‑user community is the core of our value proposition, and the relationships we build with them directly shape the experience of our clients and partners. This position is ideal for driven professionals who thrive on engaging with C‑Level executives from Fortune 1000 companies and building relationships across a variety of industries.
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience acquiring or selling to C‑Level executives within the Fortune 1000 space preferred
Background in Digital IT, IT Security, Human Resources, Retail, Marketing, Healthcare, or Supply Chain industries preferred
Ability to analyze markets, identify high‑value targets, and develop relationships that generate new business
Experience in cold calling, persuasive writing, proposal generation, and account management preferred
Comfortable in a fast‑paced business setting with demonstrated success in client relationship building
Strong organizational and customer service skills, with a proactive and goal‑oriented mindset
Key Responsibilities
Identify, qualify, and engage prospective delegates from Fortune 500 companies through a mix of telesales, social selling, and research‑driven outreach
Develop and execute tailored strategies to attract top‑level executives for assigned events
Consistently meet and exceed weekly and quarterly acquisition targets
Manage client relationships by addressing inquiries related to event programs, schedules, and speaking opportunities
Collaborate with Product, Sales, Business Development, Events, Travel, and Production teams to ensure flawless event execution
Maintain accurate records within CRM and ensure compliance with internal sales processes
Support the development of innovative and impactful event programs through active collaboration with internal teams
Drive new business growth through lead generation, cold calling, and business development initiatives
Prepare and manage personal delegate sales materials to effectively represent Millennium’s value proposition
Assist in organizing and executing at least 3 Millennium Alliance events annually
Compensation is determined based on role and location and may consist of base salary and additional incentive compensation, including commission, or bonus, where applicable.
Total Compensation: $60,000 USD - $65,000 USD
