General Purpose of the Position The Leasing Consultant is responsible for daily coordination of all leasing aspects of on‑site operations at the community. This position will also assist the Area Manager and other Community Managers in special leasing projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain a current and accurate knowledge of all current and future available apartments.
Maintain a current and up‑to‑date knowledge of surrounding market and complete reports as required.
Maintain and inspect leasing and model areas to keep them professional and clean at all times.
Accurately complete weekly traffic and activity reports.
Process all rental applications and lease packages accurately.
Greet and assist all prospective residents.
Demonstrate all models, amenities, and vacant apartments professionally.
Help create and maintain a company direction designed to develop loyalty, team spirit, and unity among all LEDIC Management Group personnel; continually renew expired leases at rental rates approved by the Community Manager and Area Manager.
Receive and record any resident requests accurately.
Complete all move‑in paperwork requirements.
Assist residents in inspecting their new apartment home.
Assist the Manager in implementing resident renewal and retention programs.
Assist the Assistant Manager with any rent‑collection requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned, provided the employee is capable of performing them.
Education and Work Experience Requirements
High School Diploma
Customer service or prior property management experience preferred
Specific Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability
Excellent written communication skills
Attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines
Pay Range $23.00 – $25.00 an hour
