Sales Account Coordinator - Grocery/ Natural Channel

US Office – Phoenix/ Remote/ PERMANENT/ SALARY: COMPETITIVE Job Purpose The Sales Account Coordinator will support sales related activities within Grocery/Natural – aiding business growth and development with existing and prospective accounts. Working with the Grocery/Natural team to deliver profitable and sustainable expansion of MPM brands and meet annual objectives. Key Responsibilities Ownership This role deals with a wide variety of tasks including, but not limited to the following: Support Grocery/Natural channel business activities to maximize sales, retail distribution, pricing and promotional strategies to grow MPM brands. Own preparation of retailer specific forms – such as new account set up, new item set up, amendment forms and images, and checklists, ensuring timely and accurate completion. Develop proficiency with account specific administration processes and portals as needed. Support the Sales team with documentation and tracking of account specific data, including – Slotting tracker, Promo Tracker, Distribution grid, Spending and deduction clearing. Support account meeting agendas where needed and follow ups as directed by key stakeholders. Ability to clearly and concisely communicate with stakeholders. Aid company P&L by supporting accurate and timely information delivery. Manage sample requests for retailer needs, trade shows, and internal sales requests Support Enhance Sales effectiveness and productivity of MPM by supporting process improvement. Assist with the integration and use of internal data systems (PIM system, account portals) Assist third party brokers as needed. Coordinating cross-functional requests between Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams Alongside stakeholders, ensure that internal key metric trackers remain up to date. Champion the Grocery/Natural team’s New Hire induction participation – schedule meetings and maintain presentation deck. Perform ad hoc Retail visits for other MPM teams (USLT, Marketing, Pet Specialty, FDM) by request Occasional travel – internal company meetings or trade shows when appropriate. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Strong written and verbal skills – Ability to demonstrate sales capability, knowledge and understanding of the business, products, and people. Ability to present effectively with excellent communication skills. Effective relationship builder – working collaboratively with accounts and MPM stakeholders is a key part of the role. Efficient time management – Prioritizing tasks to deliver impactful results. Always focused on business objectives and company goals. High attention to detail – Ensures accurate delivery of information and collateral. Open to change – Ability to work in a fast paced and continuously evolving environment. Team Player – Comfortable working both individually and as part of a dynamic team. Caring about “what gets done” and “how it gets done” a key component of MPM culture. Experience within field sales and/or sales support role in CPG marketplace. Communication skills – Ability to communicate with accounts and key stakeholders clearly and concisely. IT literate – Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite – particularly Excel (VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables & Formula’s) and PowerPoint. Training will be provided on in-house systems. Work well in systems Self-starter that is comfortable working cross functionally and can prioritize work with deadlines Bachelor’s degree or related discipline preferred but not required Passion, knowledge and experience within the pet industry is preferred Is this role for you?
