PUBLIC RELATIONS MANAGER Full-Time in Office role. Local Candidates only.

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Public Relations Manager to own and advance our external communications strategy for a growing SaaS company in the hospitality technology space. This role sits within the marketing leadership team and is responsible for shaping our narrative, strengthening earned media presence, and elevating both company and executive visibility.

This position goes beyond reactive PR. The ideal candidate brings strong point of view, sound judgment, and momentum—someone who can identify the right stories to tell, shape how we show up in the market, and actively influence outcomes rather than simply distribute announcements.

This role is not a technical writing or product documentation role. It is focused on industry storytelling, thought leadership, media engagement, and brand credibility.

Key Responsibilities External Communications

Own and execute the company’s external communications and PR strategy, partnering with internal stakeholders and external agencies

Shape compelling stories, angles, and points of view that position the company as a trusted industry voice

Proactively identify industry trends, market moments, and newsworthy narratives worth engaging

Actively manage agency performance, challenging direction and outcomes when coverage or results fall short

Narrative Development & Positioning

Partner closely with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, and Leadership to define and evolve the company’s story

Ensure consistent, aligned messaging across press, website, campaigns, launches, social media, and events

Translate complex business initiatives into clear, compelling narratives for external audiences

Help articulate the company’s role in shaping the future of hospitality technology (including emerging capabilities such as AI, where applicable)

Executive & Spokesperson Enablement

Build and strengthen public profiles for senior leaders

Develop POVs, talking points, commentary, and briefing materials for media interviews, podcasts, panels, and speaking engagements

Confidently guide and encourage executives to engage externally when timing and opportunity matter

Prepare leaders for press interactions and high‑visibility moments

Content Development & Amplification (Non‑Technical)

Create and oversee content including:

Press releases and corporate announcements

Byline articles and thought leadership

Website and newsroom content

Social media copy tied to PR initiatives

Light advertising and campaign messaging

Collaborate with social and marketing teams to amplify PR wins across owned and earned channels

Support executive and employee presence on LinkedIn and other relevant platforms

Modern Communications & Advocacy

Expand PR efforts beyond traditional media into owned, earned, and shared channels

Activate customers, partners, and internal subject‑matter experts as credible external advocates when appropriate

Partner with Demand Gen and Events teams to align PR narratives with go‑to‑market priorities

Measurement & Business Impact

Track and report on PR effectiveness, including coverage quality, reach, sentiment, and share of voice

Understand and articulate how communications support brand credibility, demand generation, and pipeline influence

Provide regular updates and insights to marketing and executive leadership

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Related Field; 5–7 years of experience in public relations, communications, or media relations

Experience in hospitality, travel, SaaS, or B2B technology strongly preferred

Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to tailor messaging by audience

Experience working closely with executives and influencing without formal authority

Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, evolving environment with some ambiguity

Writing samples will be requested during the interview process.

Preferred Qualifications

In‑house communications experience at a scaling SaaS or technology company

Agency background supporting hospitality or B2B technology clients

Experience supporting narrative shifts, growth phases, or repositioning efforts

Exposure to emerging technology categories (e.g., AI, data platforms, automation)

Strong executive presence and confident decision‑making style
