JaMbassador - Hospitality & Sales Host

JaM Cellars is on the lookout for a rockstar JaMbassador to join our tasting room team in downtown Napa! This is not your average wine job—we pair our easy-to-love wines with unforgettable experiences in our lively JaM Cellars Wine & Music Studio, home to live music, exclusive events, and great vibes all week long.
As a JaMbassador, you'll play a key role in day-to-day tasting room operations—offering best-in-class hospitality, driving sales, and creating meaningful connections with our guests. We’re looking for someone who is a motivated self-starter, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and knows how to deliver fun and elevated service.
Duties and Responsibilities Professionalism
Show up with reliability, enthusiasm, accountability, and a team-first attitude.
Dress to express, but keep it clean, professional, and guest-ready.
Provide exceptional customer service—always one step ahead of guests' needs and ready to support your fellow JaMbassadors.
Maintain a professional front-of-house presence; personal activities like phone use or eating should be done out of view from guests.
Work with grace and adaptability in a fast-paced environment alongside diverse personalities.
Sales
Create memorable, personalized guest experiences—connect with visitors and guide them to the perfect wines.
Stay focused on sales goals, including wine club sign-ups and daily revenue targets.
Gather guest contact information through our reservation and POS systems.
Become proficient in our POS and CRM systems—ring sales, enroll wine club members, update guest records, and manage orders with ease.
Exhibit strong problem-solving skills, coachability, and a drive to grow.
Wine Knowledge
Bring your passion for wine—and a desire to keep learning.
Build knowledge of our brand history, wines, and guest experiences to confidently share our story.
Qualifications
Must be 21+ years of age
Willing and able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physically able to:
Lift and carry up to 40 lbs
Stand and move for 6–8 hours
Perform a full range of motion (bending, reaching, lifting)
Coachable and comfortable with new technology and systems
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Genuine interest in wine, music, and creating joyful guest moments
