Position Overview The Personal Injury Paralegal will play a crucial role in assisting our legal team by managing case files, preparing legal documents, and facilitating communication between clients and attorneys. Your expertise and organizational skills will help ensure a thorough and efficient case process for our clients who are navigating challenging moments in their lives.

Key Responsibilities

Document Management: Draft, review, and organize legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and client correspondence

Case File Organization: Maintain and manage active case files to ensure all necessary documentation is available for attorneys and clients

Discovery and Evidence: Assist attorneys in the discovery process, including gathering evidence, summarizing documents, and organizing case‑related materials

Client Interaction: Serve as a liaison between clients and attorneys, providing case updates and answering client inquiries with professionalism and compassion

Calendar Management: Track important deadlines and manage the legal calendar for hearings, depositions, and administrative tasks

Trial Preparation: Assist in preparing exhibits and trial materials, ensuring everything is organized and ready prior to court appearances

Legal Research: Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries or reports as needed by attorneys

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field preferred; paralegal certification is a plus

Experience: At least 5 years of experience as a paralegal in a personal injury law firm is strongly preferred

Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively on multiple assignments at once

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members

Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal case management software

Team‑Oriented: Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment, showing a strong commitment to client service
