
Contract Sales Manager – North America

Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Contract Sales Manager – North America, based in Dallas, TX, with flexibility for some remote work. The Contract Sales Manager will oversee contract sales, build and maintain strong client relationships, grow project pipeline and develop strategies to drive revenue growth. Responsibilities include rep group management, identifying new business opportunities, delivering excellent client service, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and achieving sales targets. The role also involves providing market insights and contributing to overall business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow Tala’s contract sales across hospitality, residential, and institutional sectors.
Build and manage a national network of contract sales agents, ensuring alignment with company goals and consistent sales performance.
Identify, pursue, and secure major contract opportunities with developers, hotel groups, architecture and design firms, and procurement specialists.
Nurture long-term relationships with key clients and partners, delivering excellent service and driving repeat business.
Provide leadership, support, and training to the contract agent network to ensure brand consistency and high conversion rates.
Own the CRM—log all activities, track project pipelines, and use data to forecast and improve performance.
Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer service teams to support project specifications and strengthen Tala’s positioning in the contract market.
Represent Tala at industry events, trade shows, and client presentations to promote the brand and generate new business.
What We’re Looking For
Up to 4 years sales experience in B2B lighting, furniture, or a related industry.
Numerically driven—you know your targets and how to hit them.
No-excuse mentality—you put in the reps and make the calls.
Entrepreneurial mindset—you take ownership and see projects through.
Strong communicator and negotiator—you build relationships and close business.
Highly organised and self-motivated—you manage your time and pipeline effectively.
Disciplined CRM user—you know the importance of clean data and track everything.

$70k-$100k base salary + uncapped commission (2.5% of sales upon hitting targets)
