Reports to Creative Director, Marketing Team
Position Overview We are seeking a Videographer / Editor who can execute established creative direction while also contributing original concepts on smaller productions. This role supports a premium, aspirational brand and requires a strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, lighting, and post-production craft.
You will work closely with the Creative Director and Social Media Manager to produce content ranging from studio campaigns and paid advertisements to YouTube videos and social media content. On larger productions, you will assist in executing approved creative direction. On smaller shoots, you may be responsible for developing a loose concept, sourcing locations, outlining a script, capturing footage, and delivering the final edit.
This is a hands‑on production role. You must be comfortable lighting talent in studio and on location, setting up and managing sound, and producing polished edits with efficient turnaround times.
Key Responsibilities
Execute creative direction for campaign, brand, and social video content
Independently conceptualize and produce smaller‑scale shoots from idea through final delivery
Develop loose scripts, shot lists, and storyboards to align stakeholders before production
Film and edit video content for social media, YouTube, paid advertising, and internal needs
Apply strong pacing, caption timing, and visual rhythm that aligns with platform expectations
Create clean 2D informational graphics and motion elements to support marketing messaging
Assist on high‑production campaign shoots in the studio and on location
Light talent effectively in controlled studio settings and variable field environments
Set up and manage audio, including wired and wireless systems
Manage post‑production workflow, including color correction, sound mixing, formatting, media organization, and archive maintenance
Improve production efficiency and editing workflow over time
What Success Looks Like in 6 Months
Independently producing small‑scale shoots with minimal oversight
Supporting larger campaign productions confidently and professionally
Delivering social edits with strong pacing and reduced revision rounds
Contributing creative storytelling ideas that enhance brand voice
Improving turnaround speed without sacrificing production quality
Qualifications
3 plus years of professional videography and editing experience
Experience producing content for premium or aspirational brands preferred
Strong visual aesthetic and advanced proficiency in Premiere and After Effects
Understanding of lighting for studio and on‑location production
Working knowledge of audio capture, including wired and wireless systems
Ability to integrate feedback quickly
Strong organization skills and attention to scope, timelines, and deliverables
Experience creating simple motion graphics and 2D informational overlays
3D modeling experience is a plus
Professional photography experience is a plus, but not required
Loose knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
