is seeking a driven, detail-oriented, and dynamic
Assistant Property Manager
to join our team at Presidio Square Apartments, a residential community located in Milwaukee. Presidio Square offers a welcoming environment with a strong sense of community, and we are looking for a professional who is passionate about operational excellence and resident satisfaction.
As the
Assistant Property Manager , you will play an integral role in supporting the daily operations of Presidio Square while helping ensure strong financial performance and a positive resident experience. You will work closely with the Property Manager, maintenance team, leasing professional, and trusted vendors to uphold Harmoniq Residential’s standards of quality, comfort, and care.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Property Manager with the day-to-day operations of Presidio Square Apartments, contributing to the overall success and performance of the community
Oversee rent collections, manage delinquencies, and ensure accuracy of resident accounts in accordance with company policies
Assist with budget tracking, financial reporting, and achieving established operational and financial goals.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure maintenance projects, unit turns, and capital improvements are completed on time and to quality standards
Collaborate with the leasing team to support marketing efforts, conduct tours, process applications, and assist with leasing activities as needed
Build and maintain strong relationships with residents by delivering exceptional customer service and clear, timely communication
Address resident questions and concerns with professionalism, empathy, and a solutions-oriented mindset
Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with Harmoniq Residential policies, Fair Housing regulations, and applicable local and state laws
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced residential environment, takes pride in creating a positive living experience, and is eager to grow within property management.
Requirements Ideal Candidate Will Bring
Bachelor’s degree preferred
2–3 years of residential property management experience
A passion for delivering top-tier customer service and building resident loyalty
Strong skills in rent collection, budgeting, and financial tracking
Excellent communication abilities and comfort multitasking in a dynamic environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with Yardi, MRI, Entrata, or AppFolio a plus
A collaborative spirit with strong organizational abilities and a sharp eye for detail
A calm and professional approach to resolving resident issues and concerns
