The Regional Marketing Coordinator plays a critical role in driving the success of Southern Marinas by supporting marketing initiatives across an assigned region of marina properties. This position focuses on email marketing, content creation, and social media strategy to increase occupancy and customer acquisition for both slips and boat rentals. The Regional Marketing Coordinator will collaborate closely with General Managers and third-party marketing partners to execute campaigns, enhance brand visibility, and drive measurable results. Regular travel to marina properties within the assigned region is expected.

Duties & Responsibilities Position Summary The Regional Marketing Coordinator plays a critical role in driving the success of Southern Marinas by supporting marketing initiatives across an assigned region of marina properties. This position focuses on email marketing, content creation, and social media strategy to increase occupancy and customer acquisition for both slips and boat rentals. The Regional Marketing Coordinator will collaborate closely with General Managers and third-party marketing partners to execute campaigns, enhance brand visibility, and drive measurable results. Regular travel to marina properties within the assigned region is expected.

Email Marketing

Own the regional email marketing calendar, including promotional campaigns, seasonal newsletters, and customer engagement communications.

Develop creative, engaging content and continuously look for fresh ways to connect with customers.

Content Creation & Copywriting

Produce compelling content for websites, blog posts, and digital campaigns.

Coordinate photo and video documentation of events and property highlights.

Create in-house assets using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite as needed.

Social Media Strategy & Oversight

Manage property social media pages, including promotional content and responding to inquiries and comments.

Source and manage seasonal social media captains at regional properties, ensuring content volume and brand consistency.

Digital Advertising Management

Coordinate with Revenue Management and third-party partners on ad spend and channel strategy.

Monitor campaign performance across Google Ads and Meta Business Suite and report on KPIs.

Reputation Management

Monitor and respond to reviews across Google, Yelp, and other platforms for regional properties.

Proactively encourage satisfied customers to share their experiences online.

HubSpot & Lead Tracking

Support lead tracking and contact management within HubSpot.

Monitor lead-to-conversion rates by source to inform channel and budget decisions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; Marketing, Communications, PR, or Advertising preferred.

2-5 years of relevant marketing experience in an agency or corporate setting.

Experience in hospitality, tourism, or the marine/boating industry strongly preferred.

Hands‑on email marketing experience, including campaign management and performance analysis.

Experience with SEO, Google Ads, paid social, and Meta Business Suite.

Familiarity with HubSpot CRM and Marketing Hub is a plus.

Proficiency in Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.

Creative thinker with strong written communication skills and an eye for brand consistency.

Self‑starter comfortable managing multiple priorities independently.

Comfortable with regular regional travel.
