Body repairs on commercial vehicles including outfitting accessories commonly used in daily functions.
Responsibilities
Examine damaged vehicles to determine, document, and photograph the extent of structural, body, and mechanical damage.
Create precise, itemized, and authorized repair plans
Coordinate with insurance adjusters to finalize estimates, negotiate repair costs, and ensure compliance with guidelines.
Examines assigned truck to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, explaining repairs, providing accurate timelines, and maintaining communication throughout the process.
Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
Road tests vehicles when required.
Coordinate with body shop technicians and managers to ensure quality repairs and meet deadlines.
Maintains and is accountable for all Company-owned tools and manuals.
Understands, maintains and complies with federal, state and local regulations such as hazardous waste disposal including OSHA regulations and compliance.
