
Inside Sales Coordinator - Georgia

Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized, customer‑focused Inside Sales Coordinator to join our building supply team. This role plays a critical part in supporting contractors, production customers, builders, and retail customers by accurately processing orders, coordinating special purchases, and delivering exceptional service.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment, can effectively multitask under pressure, and demonstrates outstanding attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately process sales orders, quotes, and returns in a timely manner for contractors, production customers, builders, and retail clients
Coordinate and track special orders with vendors, ensuring accurate pricing, product availability, and delivery timelines
Communicate order status, backorders, and delivery updates to customers and contractors
Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and in person
Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing, and outside sales teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment for production accounts and job‑site deliveries
Resolve customer inquiries, discrepancies, and issues professionally and efficiently
Maintain organized and up‑to‑date customer and order records
Assist with inventory inquiries and provide product information to support production schedules and project timelines
Support sales initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
Qualifications
Previous experience in inside sales, customer service, or the building materials industry preferred
Experience working with contractors or production/homebuilder accounts is a plus
Strong multitasking skills with the ability to perform effectively under pressure
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High level of attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
Proficiency in order entry systems and Microsoft Office
Ability to build positive relationships with customers, contractors, and team members
Self‑motivated with a strong work ethic

Starting base salary of $65,000 annually
