Responsibilities
Lead a small team of residential electricians to install, repair, and maintain residential electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, lighting fixtures, circuit breakers, and service panels.
Read blueprints and schematics.
Perform electrical upgrades, remodel installations and new construction wiring.
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components.
Test electrical systems and components for safety and efficiency.
Troubleshoot electrical systems to identify problems and make repairs.
Communicate effectively with homeowners and contractors to explain issues, timelines, and recommend solutions.
Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must have experience to lead a small team of residential electricians.
3+ years of residential electrical experience (or equivalent apprenticeship).
Strong knowledge of the NEC.
Ability to use electrical testing tools, hand tools, and power tools safely.
Valid Driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in attics/crawl spaces.
