Marketing and Community Engagement Intern

From our humble beginnings with one boy’s wish to be a police officer, we have evolved to be one of the world’s leading children’s charities, serving children in every community in the United States and its territories. With the help of generous donors and more than 24,000 volunteers, Make‑A‑Wish grants more than 25 wishes each day throughout the U.S. and its territories.
Position Summary Assist our marketing and community engagement team with spreading awareness about our mission through content creation and storytelling.
Duties and Responsibilities
Content writing for social media accounts
Creating marketing collateral through Adobe & Canva
Contacting potential partners through cold calls
Researching prospects and scouting for local influencer partnerships
Writing wish stories
Support with graphic design requests and edits as needed
Prospect for local cause marketing campaign partners
Desired Qualifications
Should possess strong communication skills
Possess knowledge in Adobe products (Acrobat experience required, Creative Suite preferred)
Have creative writing skills, and be comfortable speaking on the phone.

Intern Commitment
Part Time internship (2 days in the office)
Unpaid position
