B&C Enterprises, Inc. is a residential and commercial remodeling contractor serving the Northwest Chicago suburbs since 1995. We specialize in kitchen and bath remodels, full home renovations, and custom cabinetry.
We are seeking an experienced Residential Lead Carpenter to oversee and execute key phases of residential construction projects. This role works closely with the Project Supervisor to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards.
Responsibilities
Perform project layout based on architectural plans and specifications
Install framing, cabinets, millwork, windows, doors, drywall, and trim
Lead framing and finishing phases of residential remodeling projects
Assist with scheduling and punch list completion
Maintain a clean and safe job site in compliance with OSHA standards
Troubleshoot and resolve on-site construction challenges
Qualifications
5+ years of residential construction experience
Proficiency with carpentry tools and equipment
Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Reliable attendance (Monday-Friday, 8-10 hour shifts)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and stand for extended periods
OSHA 10 certification preferred
