Overview ABOUT THE POSITION

CRM Data Specialist | Hybrid | New York | New Jersey | Pennsylvania

VHB is seeking a CRM Data Specialist to join our Northeast Regional Marketing Team!

In this role, you’ll work closely with marketing and technical partners to maintain the accuracy and integrity of information in our Client Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring our teams have reliable data to support pursuits, client focus teams, and other strategic business development initiatives.

You will help maintain and manage the accuracy of critical marketing and business development information—keeping our contacts, companies, opportunities, and project data clean, reliable, and actionable. By turning data into insight, you’ll support reporting dashboards, such as win-loss metrics and opportunity pipelines, that inform decision-making across the firm.

You’ll also serve as a CRM super user and go-to resource for your colleagues—identifying opportunities to improve system usage, automating everyday tasks, customizing report views, and helping train new users so that our teams can fully leverage the system in support of VHB’s business development approach.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Understands VHB’s Focus Forward Approach and how the CRM supports the program. Supports maintenance, reporting, and accuracy of marketing and business development metrics in the CRM and reporting dashboards (i.e., win-loss, opportunity pipeline).

Helps to maintain data integrity of VHBers, contacts, companies, opportunities in the pipeline, and project

Provides frequent review of data in the system to ensure data Follows up and advises marketing and technical practitioners when anomalies in data occur and/or lessons learned on metrics can be applied and shared.

Identifies ways to improve usage of the CRM through automating basic, everyday

Customizes and prepares marketing report views from the

Serves as CRM and marketing database super Trains new employees on the CRM, in partnership with marketing management.

Identifies system bugs and tracks in

May support basic qualifications packages/proposals, in partnership with marketing team.

Participates in professional and personal development aligned with career

Performs all job functions in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations and VHB policies and procedures.

Has working knowledge and familiarity using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, etc. to perform tasks including data management and analysis.

Reviews and interprets both quantitative and qualitative data

Conducts training sessions for Project Managers and marketing staff on CRM usage

Skills & Knowledge

Demonstrated initiative

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

Experience developing and conducting system trainings for technical and marketing staff

Strong business data analytics experience supporting sales performance and revenue tracking

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Team oriented with ability to perform multiple tasks independently in a timely manner and collaborate effectively and positively with coworkers

Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail oriented

Skills and knowledge must be commensurate with required experience and job level

Minimum Qualifications

3-5+ years of marketing information and systems management experience

BA/BS in Marketing Information Systems, Marketing, Computer Science, or related discipline

Experience managing a CRM or similar marketing information system (Microsoft Dynamics)

Experience with market research, data management and analytics

Proficient with Microsoft PowerBi
