Responsibilities The Senior Enrollment Marketing Specialist develops and executes strategic marketing and communications campaigns to drive prospect engagement and enrollment for the School of Nursing. This professional-level role manages multichannel outreach, collaborates with stakeholders, and oversees vendor relationships to ensure consistent and effective messaging throughout the student journey. By leveraging data-driven tactics and institutional branding, the specialist advances recruitment goals and enhances the School’s visibility and impact within the university and broader community.
Essential Functions
Develop, implement, and manage multichannel marketing and communications campaigns for recruitment and enrollment, applying data-informed strategy across channels (e.g., email, digital ads, print, web, social) and throughout the prospective and admitted student journey.
Lead cross-functional collaboration with Admissions, Communications, and external vendors to plan, advise on, and execute strategic marketing initiatives, providing recommendations aligned with program goals, enrollment priorities, and student audiences.
Support Slate CRM and marketing automation setup, workflow optimizations, audience segmentation, and reporting to enhance prospective student engagement.
Oversee strategic coordination and production of recruitment materials (brochures, flyers, digital collateral), ensuring adherence to brand standards and accuracy.
Conduct market research and analyze campaign data to measure effectiveness, identify trends, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Serve as primary liaison for vendor and agency relationships, managing contracts, timelines, and deliverables for marketing projects.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff, student employees, or internal team members on marketing and outreach best practices, supporting onboarding and professional development.
Minimum Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related area required
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in marketing, communications, or public relations required.
Experience in higher education or healthcare industry context strongly preferred.
Demonstrated experience with multichannel campaign planning, vendor management, and data analysis preferred.
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Proficiency in marketing technology platforms (Slate CRM, email marketing, analytics, social media management) required.
Exceptional written, verbal, and project management skills.
