Work Schedule 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday

Position Summary The Digital Marketing Specialist contributes to the company's success by coordinating and implementing communications initiatives, specifically related to supporting the Genova Diagnostics brand through the use of online tools and resources - such as email, web content and advertising, digital imagery, and various web analytics instruments.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation: Write social posts, emails, and other content to engage and maintain an audience, contributing to long‑term brand loyalty.

Website Maintenance: Manage and update our website using Bloomreach CMS as well as basic HTML/CSS to keep content current.

Email Campaigns: Assist in the design and deployment of marketing emails, including the use of HTML/CSS for email template creation.

Social Media Coordination: Contribute to the creation and scheduling of social media content across various platforms.

Instruction Database Maintenance: Update and manage a centralized database of product instructions for internal and external use.

Project Development & Management

Partner with project owners to execute projects from start to finish and build cross‑functional relationships to aid in the development and completion of compiling, creative, and accurate web content.

Manage assigned projects from idea generation, planning, implementation, follow‑up and evaluation.

Assist Marketing Manager in achieving company goals by executing marketing objectives, strategies, and tactics, including coordination with marketing staff to promote products and events.

Prepare and track budget as necessary, and monitor budgetary spending to assist in delivering maximum return on investment.

Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Skills Required

Solid understanding of HTML/CSS

Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Pardot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, etc.)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience with social media management

Graphic design skills are a plus

Qualifications To perform this job successfully, a candidate must have the following:

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Highly organized and detail oriented

Strong time management skills to achieve successful implementation of tasks and projects

Ability to work cross‑functionally with all levels of the organization

Positive attitude that inspires departmental and cross‑functional team members to deliver maximum job performance

Education and/or Experience Preferred: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four‑year college or university in marketing, business or technology and three years related experience and/or training.

Computer Skills Requirements include:

Understanding of web development, including content, design, and functionality

Marketing automation experience (Pardot, Marketo, HubSpot, etc.)

Basic HTML knowledge and functional skills

Proficiency with analytics (Google Analytics)

Knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software

Familiarity with social media networks (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn) from a B28 commercial standpoint

Experience with CRM systems is beneficial
