Responsibilities

Responsible for the maintenance of customer accounts through collection activity and account research.

Responsible for Tier 2 inbound calls into the Credit & Collections department through multiple channels including voice, text, social media, and Customer or Sales Rep portals.

Follows up with Customers and Sales Representatives within 24 hours of phone or email request.

Works accounts receivable aging reports, collection reports, and sales representative reports as assigned by Credit & Collections Management.

Meet department metric standards on a monthly basis.

Provides superior customer service by maintaining focus on the 2-customer philosophy.

Maintain thorough and accurate documentation on customer account interactions.

Performs other duties as assigned by Credit & Collections Management.

Qualifications

3+ years' experience in Collections, Accounts receivable, or a similar role

B2B collections experience preferred

The ability to resolve complex payment issues

Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, AX, Excel, etc.)

The ability to communicate in a professional manner with management, sales representatives, customers, and co-workers in both written and verbal form

The ability to read and write small letters and numbers; the ability to make arithmetic calculations

The ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions

Proficient in skip tracing and establishing alternative contacts

The ability to handle confidential information and use discretion while performing job tasks

The successful completion of a ninety (90) day orientation period

Additional Information

This is a Monday-Friday role. The shifts are 8 hours with the schedule between the hours of 8:00.am-6:00pm. Will work 9:00am-6:00pm once a week.
