
Intervention Specialist

Centerville City Schools is seeking student-centered Intervention Specialists to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year. This individual will provide specially designed instruction and support to students with disabilities, ensuring their access to the general education curriculum and progress toward IEP goals.
There are multiple positions available at all levels for the upcoming school year.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with the IEP team
Provide direct instruction to students with disabilities in both inclusive and resource settings
Modify curriculum and adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, families, and support staff
Participate in IEP meetings, team planning sessions, and professional development
Maintain compliance with IDEA, state regulations, and district policies
Qualifications
Valid Ohio teaching license as an Intervention Specialist
Knowledge of special education laws, IEP development, and evidence-based instructional strategies
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Experience working with diverse student populations preferred
Commitment to supporting the academic, social, and emotional needs of all learners
