Zing Metric is hiring an

Automotive SEO Account Manager

to help lead the next phase of our expansion.

ZING Metric is a boutique, family-run digital marketing agency based in Missoula, Montana, specializing exclusively in Search Engine Optimization for automotive dealerships across the United States. Our clients trust us because we focus on one discipline, Search Engine Optimization and we execute it at a high level with precision, strategy, and measurable results.

This role is not just about managing accounts. It is about leading performance conversations, strengthening relationships, and driving measurable organic growth for dealership partners nationwide.

As our Account Manager, you will report directly to the COO and President of Zing Metric and serve as a strategic point of contact for our growing portfolio of clients. You will translate data into clarity, strategy into execution, and communication into long-term partnerships.

This role combines client strategy, SEO execution, and content creation. The ideal candidate has a strong background in digital marketing, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console, along with excellent communication and writing skills.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for dealership clients

Lead monthly reporting calls and communicate SEO performance clearly

Write SEO-focused website content including model pages, blog posts, and location pages

Execute local SEO optimization to help dealerships dominate their surrounding markets

Manage online review responses and reputation management

Analyze performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools

Monitor visibility across Google search results, AI Overviews, and emerging AI platforms

Provide insights and reports to both clients and Zing Metric leadership

Qualifications

1+ years of hands‑on experience in digital marketing with a strong focus on SEO

Deep working knowledge of Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, and organic search performance analysis

Proven ability to interpret SEO data and translate it into clear strategies and client‑facing insights

Strong understanding of on‑page SEO, local SEO, entity optimization and content‑driven ranking strategies

Experience managing multiple client accounts and leading performance conversations with confidence

Understanding of Google Business Profile optimization and online review management

Highly organized with excellent attention to detail, reporting accuracy, and follow‑through

Comfortable using SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms

Ability to prioritize, manage deadlines, and operate independently in a fast‑paced environment

Bonus Experience

Automotive marketing or dealership industry experience

Familiarity with AI search visibility (AI Overviews, LLM search results, etc.)
