Job Description Position Summary The CI Specialist position is an important role at Bertch Cabinet, LLC. The CI Specialist is responsible for developing a wide variety of high-quality, high-engagement SOS and Standard Work documents utilizing advanced-level tools within SharePoint and Excel.

Critical thinking with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with other team members is a key expectation of this role. Your attention to detail is important to operations, ensuring a grammatically correct, technically accurate, and usable/concise product document is generated.

To aide in the development of this position, each CI Specialist is expected to participate and facilitate in the Masterbrand Business System Lean training program in addition to facilitating/leading various Kaizen events. You will identify, plan, lead, implement and follow-up on plant improvement activities. This includes but is not limited to data tracking, performance board, performing various audits, process report‑out of metrics in production meeting and root cause analysis on quality/safety and processes problems.

The candidate for the CI Specialist needs to be able to think outside the box and professionally challenge status quo at all levels of the organization. Self‑motivated and highly organized, you must demonstrate and sustain exceptional follow‑through, initiative, and commitment to excellence.

CI Specialist will be expected to work with and around moving equipment/machines, participate in safety incident investigations and update assigned CI schedule. Flexibility of work hours, including overtime and off‑shift is must.

Typical working hours are Monday – Thursday 6am – 4:30pm, with overtime on Friday as assigned by management.

Key Accountabilities

Respect and comply with all safety guidelines – report safety concerns to management

Work with the highest quality standards, maintaining consistent speed and accuracy

Ensure that production requirements and standards are met consistently

Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality

Report any machinery issues to management

Maintain a clean and safe work area

Follow all written and verbal instructions

Attend all safety and production trainings

Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude

Perform other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

Fluent in the use and creation of SharePoint

Demonstrated advanced Excel skills

Excellent communication skills

Reliable and punctual

Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team

Advanced computer and writing skills utilizing various technical platforms

Capable of reading and understanding production documents and safety manuals

High school diploma or equivalent required

2+ years’ experience working in industrial production is strongly preferred

Physically capable of manual labor that includes lifting, bending, and reaching

Able to work 8‑hour shifts standing

Flexible schedule and willingness to work occasional overtime
