Worship Leader (Part-Time)
First Baptist Church Mableton – Mableton, GA
First Baptist Church Mableton is seeking a Christ-centered, passionate Worship Leader to help lead our congregation into authentic, Gospel-centered worship experiences.
We are a Southern Baptist church with a contemporary style that values both modern worship expressions and classic hymns. Our worship ministry includes a praise team, band, Celebration Choir and Audio/Visual technicians.
Responsibilities
Planning and leading Sunday worship services
Leading Wednesday rehearsals
Collaborating with the Senior Pastor in service planning
Recruiting, mentoring, and developing volunteer musicians, vocalists, and A/V personnel
Directing the Celebration Choir, including seasonal presentations for Easter and Christmas
Overseeing music-related equipment, including maintenance and upkeep
Qualifications
A clear testimony and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
Meets biblical leadership standards (1 Timothy 3; Titus 1)
A strong vocal ability with proficiency in guitar and/or keyboard
Pastoral presence and effective communication skills
Team-oriented, relational, strong stage presence, humble leadership style
Proficiency in using Planning Center, ProPresenter, MultiTracks, PC and MAC skills, other related Audio/Visual systems
Time Commitment:
12–15 hours per week (includes Sundays and Wednesdays) Compensation:
Salary based on education and experience. Background and credit check required.
