
Aquarium Aviary Service Representative

Overview
We are a rapidly growing aquarium and aviary service company. This role will primarily be servicing of aquariums and aviaries in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. This is an entry level position that requires basic knowledge of hand tools and assembly. Lifting, bending, and some physical demands are involved in the position. This is a part-time remote position. Work is typically done during business hours of 8am to 7pm but is flexible. Hours will vary from month to month but will average around 8-10 hours a month. Hours are dependent upon the number of accounts in your area. Benefits:

Responsibilities
Well organized and possess excellent time management skills Professional appearance with excellent communication skills Effectively communicate company products and services Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks Inner drive and desire to exceed goals Respond to calls, emails, faxes to take care of customer needs Able to make an efficient work schedule Manage service cycle for customer base
Qualifications
Experience in fish keeping and or bird keeping preferred Great attitude and willingness to learn. Ability to continually adjust priorities to match the business need. Strong work ethic along with being on time and maintaining good attendance. Ability to successfully communicate and contribute in a team oriented environment. Must have the ability to comprehend and follow instructions and to read and write in English. Preference given to candidates with mechanical aptitude. Willingness to be flexible with schedule and job responsibilities. Able to travel in your service area radius Heavy lifting and maneuvering is required. Flexibility is a must! High School education is preferred. Driver’s License required

Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 8-10 hours per month. Hours are dependent upon the number of accounts in your area. Travel: Travel in a 150 mile radius of Portland, ME will be required. Mileage reimbursement is paid while driving. Hourly Wage is not paid during driving Cities: Scarborough, Augusta, Waterville Covid-19 considerations: Covid-19 vaccine or masking/goggles may be required due to work in long term care homes Storing supplies: Storing 50# bags of bedding and seed along with 4-5 27 gallon totes of supplies will be required for the job.
