
Family Service Representative

The Family Service Representative provides exceptional service to individuals and families in the Diocese of Cleveland. This role involves assisting Funeral Directors with burial details, consulting with families, selling cemetery products and services, building strong relationships, and educating on Catholic Cemeteries Association (CCA) burial products and services.
Location:
All Saints Northfield: 480 W Highland Rd, Northfield, OH 44067
Travel:
Ability to travel between other cemetery offices.
Compensation:
$30,000 - $110,000 ($30,000 draw against commission).
Key Responsibilities
Educate and assist families with cemetery burial needs on a pre-need or at-need basis.
Quote accurate prices and credit terms; prepare sales contracts.
Verify accuracy of information, maintain accurate inventory and sales records.
Work with the Director of Sales to identify potential new inventory or services to meet customer needs.
Act independently and responsibly to perform duties on a consistent basis.
Maintain a positive attitude, assist clients with great care and compassion.
Work with Pre-Planning Coordinator and provide assistance with off-site pre-planning events.
Build relationships within the death and elder care industries.
Attend seminars and training as appropriate.
Complies with policies and professional standards. Follow company policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Education & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in sales and marketing in the service industry.
Requires one (1) to three (3) years of sales and marketing experience.
Cemetery Sales experience preferred.
Must have reliable vehicle/transportation, valid driver’s license, required automobile insurance, and the ability to safely and independently operate said vehicle.
Must be DISC Insurable.
Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment.
Ability to manage difficult or emotional customers.
Dependable and responds to management direction.
Ability to take initiative and develop innovative approaches and ideas.
Ability to present ideas and information in a manner that gets others' attention.
Ability to communicate with various individuals.
An active listener with the ability and patience to respond to questions.
