Overview
The Event Strategist Professional II is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and evaluation of external member-facing events to strengthen member engagement and deliver measurable impact, while providing strategic and operational support for select internal events and initiatives. This role owns the end-to-end event lifecycle from concept through execution and evaluation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, brand standards, and member needs. The position focuses on advanced operational execution, develops event strategies that integrate with broader marketing campaigns, and leverages data-driven insights to optimize performance and improve event effectiveness. This role also manages larger and recurring initiatives such as milestone anniversary events, major community activations, and Maui-specific programs. The Event Strategist oversees and takes responsibility for promotional item program management, continuous improvement of event analytics, and deeper campaign integration across channels to drive consistent, high-quality event experiences.
Responsibilities
Lead planning, execution, and evaluation of external member-facing events to strengthen member engagement and deliver measurable impact.
Provide strategic and operational support for selected internal events and initiatives.
Own the end-to-end event lifecycle from concept through evaluation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, brand standards, and member needs.
Develop event strategies that integrate with broader marketing campaigns.
Leverage data-driven insights to optimize performance and improve event effectiveness.
Manage larger and recurring initiatives such as milestone anniversary events, major community activations, and Maui-specific programs.
Oversee promotional item program management and continuous improvement of event analytics.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
4-6 years of experience in event planning and execution, with demonstrated expertise in event logistics, vendor management, and merchandising.
Required Knowledge
Knowledge of event marketing strategy, planning, execution, and evaluation, with a focus on external, member-facing events and campaign integration.
Working knowledge of budgeting, vendor management, project coordination, promotional items, and performance measurement.
Skills/Abilities
Ability to independently manage the full event lifecycle while balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and project management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and vendors.
Salary Range
Minimum - $57,576
Maximum - $92,122
