This opportunity is for a skilled food photographer to join upcoming restaurant shoots in Montauk, NY. The role requires capturing high-quality, color-accurate images of dishes for use on delivery apps, menus, and marketing materials. Shoots are conducted on-location inside restaurants, often in tight spaces and mixed lighting conditions, requiring adaptability and efficiency. The focus is on product-driven photography that highlights the texture, plating, and appeal of each menu item. You will be responsible for styling plates, managing lighting setups, and selecting the best angles to showcase each dish. All necessary photography equipment, including cameras, lenses, light modifiers, and tethering gear, must be provided and managed by you. The position does not require post-production; delivery of RAW files is expected within the agreed timeline. Each session covers a full restaurant menu, including entrées, desserts, and beverages. Scheduling and client coordination are handled externally, allowing you to focus on the creative and technical aspects of the shoot. This is an urgent need, and candidates based in or able to reliably travel to Montauk are preferred.
