Snapshot of Your Responsibilities

Be the driving force from start to finish on segment production, ensuring each piece holds true to Fox Weather's high standards

Pitch innovative story ideas and turn them into compelling on‑air content

Work closely with our on‑air talent, prepping them for each show

Showcase your versatility within our control room as you line produce, in addition to handing breaking news situations

What You Will Need

Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field preferred, or equivalent experience

Strong interest in weather‑related topics ranging from the urgent bulletins that affect lives to the intriguing human stories shaped by the weather

An excellent sense of editorial judgment

The ability to remain calm and effective in the control room under high‑pressure situations

Experience with iNEWS or Dalet editing software will be considered an asset

Must be able to work early mornings and weekends

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $67,000.00-85,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
