If you're energized by work that is mission‐driven, collaborative, and boldly future‐focused, join us as we continue to rise—together.## **Key Job Responsibilities:*** Develops and designs the overall navigation flow, layout of specific pages, and creation of individual graphic elements; ensures that all design elements, templates, and finished solutions work within a variety of browser types and screen settings along with the constraints set by development and design* Develops and implements strategic digital media initiatives, priorities, objectives, and best practices in collaboration with leadership and other functional work units* Implements graphical and style standards for web sites* Provides design maintenance of websites and other electronic publications and applications* Serves as a subject matter expert and unit liaison to other departments to design graphics and layouts## **Department:**Marketing and University Communications## **Compensation:**Competitive compensation commensurate with qualifications and experience. This position is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).## **Required Qualifications:*** Associate’s degree from a 2-year college or Bachelor’s degree university in web or graphic design, digital design, strategic marketing or communication, or related communications or business field* Two to five years of experience working as a web designer, UI/UX designer, front-end developer, multimedia designer, digital content producer, or equivalent role* Strong understanding of accessibility standards and practices for consistent implementation (e.g., WCAG 2.1 AA compliance)* Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP* Strong attention to detail, problem solving, team, project and time management skills* Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills* Creative thinking skills with an ability to bring forward new ideas## **Preferred Qualifications:*** Experience migrating websites* Demonstrated experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), including technical SEO and GEO knowledge, keyword research, on-page and off-page SEO, and analytics and data interpretation* Experience with Google Analytics 4 and DubBot## **Conditions of Appointment:**This position is fully remote. Travel may be required between campuses for meetings, events or trainings. Occasional evening and/or weekend work.Position is a part-time (71.75%) Academic Staff appointment. This position will report 28.7 hours/five days a week, with flexibility in scheduling.
