Overview We are looking for an articulate meteorologist or weather anchor to produce and present multiple weather segments during our weekday newscasts, using weather data and Baron computer graphics. Responsibilities Produce and present clear, engaging weather reports during weekday newscasts. Respond to breaking weather news and be familiar with weather in the viewing area. Shoot, write scripts, lead‑ins and other material related to weather. Maintain a strong social media presence, posting multiple times a day on the station’s website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and your own accounts. Qualifications Experience as a meteorologist or weather anchor with knowledge of Baron computer graphics. Strong communication skills and ability to present weather information clearly. Valid driver’s license; ability to pass a drug test and background check. Spanish proficiency is a big plus in our market. Strong social media presence and willingness to grow it during your tenure.
