Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding and fitting tasks to fabricate and assemble metal structures according to specifications. If you have a strong background in welding, fitting, and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities
Perform welding and fitting tasks using various techniques and tools Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings Fabricate and assemble metal components accurately Use hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments Operate welding equipment such as soldering irons, rigging equipment Inspect welded structures to ensure they meet quality standards Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently Operate crane and other heavy machinery as needed Qualifications
Proven experience as a Welder/Fitter or similar role Proficient in welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick welding Familiarity with various hand tools and measuring instruments Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings Strong attention to detail and precision in work Knowledge of safety procedures when operating welding equipment Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Certification in welding is a plus, we are willing to train you Joining our team as a Welder/Fitter offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects in a dynamic environment.
