Overview
Our Nuclear Services Group is seeking Procedure Writers to support a project at Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to drive operational excellence by shaping and refining critical procedures, collaborating with diverse teams and ensuring seamless execution. This position will be a part time position working 30 hours or less per week. This role can be onsite or remote from within Texas.
Responsibilities
Procedure Development & Review: Prepare and review procedure revisions in accordance with Client Technical Procedures and associated Writer's Guides
Change Management & Documentation: Process procedure changes in accordance with Client procedures including addressing all comments, obtaining approvals, and loading into Client’s document tracking system
Collaboration & Expertise: Provide close coordination with maintenance, program owners, and system engineers. Experience with procedure writing is essential
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a related field and minimum 5 years of Procedure Writing experience OR appropriate industry recognized licenses or certification AND minimum 5 years of Procedure Writing experience
Nuclear power experience is required
Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
