Marketing Professional

As a marketing professional at CEC, you will help tell the story of who we are and the impact we make across our communities. You'll collaborate with a creative and driven marketing team to develop strategies, content, and campaigns that elevate our brand and support company-wide growth. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on varietycombining creative design, content development, digital marketing, and cross-team collaboration. The responsibilities below reflect the core expectations for this role, with the understanding that duties may shift as new priorities and opportunities arise. Content Creation & Design

Develop high-quality custom graphic design for a variety of marketing materials. Produce, edit, and package long and short-form video content. Capture and edit photography. Assist with setup, recording, editing, scheduling, and promoting internal and external podcasts. Create and manage promotional materials including brochures, ads, trade show materials, and digital assets. Support the team with development and execution of ad campaigns and integrated marketing plans. Social Media Management

Create and manage social content, including planning, writing captions, creating visuals, and scheduling posts. Monitor performance metrics, engagement, and trends to help optimize social media strategy. Website Content & Management

Utilize the CMS to maintain general site quality, and create and update content such as service pages, project profiles, and staff bios. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information for new content and ensure timely updates. Identify opportunities to improve the user experience, visual design, and clarity of information across the website. Support SEO-focused updates such as optimizing page copy, headings, imagery, and metadata. Collaboration & Compliance

Assist with planning and/or attending company events, tradeshows, or conferences, as needed. Assist with proposals, interviews, or capabilities presentations on an as needed basis. Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Competencies

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university or 3+ years related experience and/or training in communications, marketing, advertising, digital media, or related field. Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro). Ability to set up and utilize in-house photography, videography, and audio equipment, such as microphones, cameras and lenses, lighting and audio recording equipment. Ability to edit websites using a CMS (WordPress) along with a basic understanding of SEO fundamentals. Ability to plan content and utilize a social media scheduling platform (Hootsuite). Strong writing, interpersonal communications, and time management skills. Organizational skills: ability to prioritize and organize tasks; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. English language skills: ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write content, copy, reports, and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to clients and CEC employees. Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc., Prezi, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook preferred. Mathematical skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs. Reasoning skills: ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Remote connectivity device (e.g., smart phone, tablet, etc.) with data plan sufficient for company requirements, including multi-factor authentication, time and mileage tracking, expense reimbursement, e-mail, and virtual communications. Light physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative nature. Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, work with the fingers, and perceive attributes of objects and materials. Ability to sit up to eight hours per day. Ability to manipulate computer mouse up to eight hours per day. Ability to see clearly 20 inches or less and 20 feet or more; ability to identify and distinguish colors; ability to adjust focus. Ability to lift and move up to 10 pounds occasionally and up to 25 pounds intermittently. Work Environment

Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation. Moderate noise Work Schedule

Fixed schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, including required core hours. Occasional overtime required. Eligible to submit application for telecommuting after 90 days.
