Bilingual PreApproval Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Pre-Approval Specialist to join our top-producing team and assist clients with the Pre-Approval process. This position requires a unique mix of sales and customer service skills, strong knowledge of Fannie and Freddie programs, the ability to fully pre-qualify a borrower, plus the ability to manage loan files from beginning to end. Effective communication skills are essential for building relationships that help us to obtain future business. Assemble loan documentation as required for verifications and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork Review all loan package documentation for discrepancies, omissions, and income calculation; report any discrepancies to the loan originator Handle all customer and in-house inquiries about transactions so the process is smooth and customers receive excellent service Gather initial documentation to fully pre-qualify a borrower based on their portfolio, make program and product recommendations for what best fits their needs Qualifications
Although not required, having an NMLS license or training is preferred Ability to effectively work in a strong team-oriented environment and provide outstanding communication and customer service to clients Computer proficiency required including MS Office; some CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software preferred Expert-level knowledge of Fannie and Freddie guidelines Strong ability to calculate income and run LP and DU Compensation
Compensation:
$65,000 per year + bonus DOE
