The Associate Music Producer supports aspects of larger music-related productions and may lead specific phases of a production. You will coordinate several phases through constant communication and planning, acting as the liaison between VML and music partners, including labels, publishers, original music producers and stock music companies. You will help translate client and agency musical needs into goals achievable with internal or external resources. What You'll Do
Plan, schedule, and musically support specific project activities toward defined objectives and adhere to production requirements. Facilitate communication between the agency and our music suppliers. Maintain project processes to increase efficiency and resource usability. Lead defined phases of music projects to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery at high quality. Develop integrated music production schedules from conception to completion. What You'll Need And Who You Are
Bachelor’s Degree in music, film, photography, theatre, marketing or relevant field, or equivalent work experience. 1–2 years of experience/internships in production, advertising and/or the music industry. Demonstrated ability to manage and lead across a multi-office internal agency environment. Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal; strong oral, written, and presentation skills. Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and capable of self-managing and multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to apply critical, strategic, and musical thinking. Stress-tolerant, quick-thinking, flexible and accurate with the ability to understand new technology concepts. Strong interpersonal communication skills as a team leader and team player; capable presenter and negotiator. Salary and Benefits
The base salary range indicated is $50,000—$90,000 USD. Compensation varies based on location, experience, and responsibilities. We offer a competitive benefits package. Work Environment
