(A.C.E.) Derby, Kansas Full-Time | Hourly Position Aircraft & Commercial Enterprises, Inc. (A.C.E.) is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Kitting & Packaging Specialist to join our Operations team. This role is responsible for assembling, verifying, packaging, and preparing customer orders for shipment with a high level of accuracy and efficiency. This position is critical to ensuring customers receive exactly what was ordered correctly, packaged, properly labeled, and shipped on time. We are looking for someone who takes pride in precision and understands that small mistakes can have significant consequences. Starting Pay: $16/hr Hours: M-F 8-5 Benefits: Health/Dental Insurance, HSA/FSA, Life Insurance, Gym Membership, & Quarterly Bonuses Position Overview The Kitting & Packaging Specialist is responsible for accurately pulling, assembling, labeling, and packaging parts and materials according to customer specifications and internal requirements. This role requires focus, consistency, and accountability in a structured, fast-paced environment.
Core Responsibilities
Order Pulling & Kitting
Accurately pull parts according to sales orders and pick tickets.
Verify part numbers, quantities, revisions, and lot information.
Assemble kits according to documented requirements.
Identify discrepancies before orders move forward.
Packaging & Labeling
Package items according to customer and regulatory specifications.
Ensure proper labeling, barcodes, and documentation are included.
Follow packaging standards for aerospace and government customers.
Protect product integrity during shipment.
Shipping Preparation
Ensure finished orders are ready and properly positioned for pickup.
Assist with shipping documentation and order verification.
Maintain organized workflow to support on-time delivery.
Accuracy & Accountability
Minimize picking and packing errors.
Maintain clean and organized work areas.
Follow standard operating procedures consistently.
Report issues or inconsistencies immediately.
What Success Looks Like
High order accuracy.
Minimal rework or shipping errors.
On-time order completion.
Strong productivity without sacrificing quality.
Dependable attendance and consistent performance.
Qualifications
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work on your feet and lift packages as required.
Ability to follow structured processes and instructions.
Team-oriented mindset.
Previous Warehouse, Production, Or Fulfillment Experience Preferred (but not required).
