Property Manager, Multifamily Miller Landing Overview
Multifamily Property Managers are responsible for maintaining our communities to a market-ready standard, always ensuring high-level of service. Multifamily Property Managers are also responsible for motivating high-performing teams to maximize the performance of the property. This is a full-time, on-site position with 65 multifamily units. Responsibilities
Ensure the smooth operation of the community in a fast-paced environment. Oversee maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, audits, and related activities. Provide superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects to enhance satisfaction, increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability. Complete lease and renewal paperwork to company standards. Track and evaluate advertising and all client traffic. Develop, mentor, lead, and manage a high-performing, cohesive team (leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management) to maximize engagement and minimize turnover. Drive revenues through understanding and analysis of competition and development and by implementing creative marketing programs. Lead by example and model Cushman & Wakefield’s mission to be the best national management company. Supervise day-to-day operations of the on-site team, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. Maintain effective on-site staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching as necessary. Maintain residents' files in accordance with company standards. Maintain a positive living environment for residents through prompt conflict resolution and follow-up. Manage all aspects of the community budget and finances. Work with leasing staff to ensure leasing and marketing goals are met. Competencies
Effective communication and customer service skills Computer literate, including Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation General office, bookkeeping, and sales skills with excellent oral and written communication Determine leasing opportunities and work on goal setting to improve staff performance Supervise day-to-day operations of the team in alignment with company policies and procedures Collaborate with leasing staff to meet leasing and marketing goals Ability to manage a team Perform other related duties as required or assigned Education
Bachelor’s Degree preferred Real Estate License preferred Experience
3+ years of onsite multifamily property management experience required, including leasing, delinquency, resident support, and property manager duties Yardi or RealPage OneSite systems experience required Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. Regularly required to travel. Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to perform the essential functions. Tasks may include standing and walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, ladders, or step stools, and potential outdoor exposure. May be required to remain in a stationary position for up to 85% of the time and travel up to 15% of the time. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds as needed. Other Duties
