Child Welfare Specialist
to join our mission‑driven team. This role is responsible for providing comprehensive case management services to children in foster care, ensuring that each child\'s physical, social, emotional, and permanent needs are met in accordance with all Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) regulations and agency standards. The Child Welfare Specialist will lead and coordinate services for a designated caseload, maintain regular contact with children, foster families, and natural families, and advocate for needed educational, medical, clinical, and social support. Responsibilities include arranging appointments, attending court hearings and administrative case reviews, coordinating interdisciplinary meetings, ensuring compliance with required documentation, and responding to emergencies or crises as needed. This position requires the ability to provide hands‑on physical assistance and intervene during behavioral incidents when necessary.
