As a Field Property Adjuster, you will be dedicated to providing exceptional service to our policyholders. Your primary responsibility will involve traveling to our customers\' homes to conduct on-site inspections, investigate coverage, prepare estimates, and settle claims promptly and efficiently. You will also handle virtual claims nationwide, leveraging platforms and software such as Xactimate and ClaimsX Video Collaboration. Your expertise will focus on water losses, ensuring customers receive high-quality support and resolution for these specific claims. Responsibilities The Customer Service Expert – demonstrate empathy, clarity, and partnership in each claim and uphold Allstate\'s Claims Culture. The Investigator – independently investigate property claims by reviewing damage and interpreting policies to determine coverage. The Effective Communicator – communicate via phone, email, and video as needed to guide customers through a fast, fair, and easy claims process and keep them updated. The Negotiator – evaluate and negotiate settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants following legal and business standards. The Problem Solver – use tools (estimates, job aids, settlement platforms) in a fast-paced environment with strong critical thinking. The Recorder – document work timely and accurately in claims systems and ensure policy compliance and financial protection for the company. Preferred Qualifications 2-3 years of outside adjuster experience is highly desired. Proficiency with Xactimate and other estimating software. Strong critical thinking and technical skills to assess damages and expedite settlements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for exceptional customer service. Ability to travel to customers\' homes and handle virtual claims nationwide. Detail-oriented and organized with a focus on quality. Residency within the posted location is required. Required Qualifications Ability to carry a 50-pound ladder and access up to a 6/12 pitch on one- to two-story roofs. Valid driver\'s license and willingness to travel. Training and Licensing Comprehensive training to build a claims foundation and understand systems and processes. Ongoing training opportunities for continuous improvement on the job. 2 weeks of training in Dallas, TX (required). Notice of licensing requirement: may require adjuster/appraiser licenses and background checks; licensing within 60 days of hire if applicable. Hiring manager and Centralized Licensing team assist with licensing as needed. Compensation and Benefits Base compensation: $70,000–$115,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Company car may be available based on mileage and company guidelines; mileage reimbursement provided for personal vehicle use at work. Sign-On Bonus You may be eligible for a $1,000 Licensing Sign-On Bonus if you have the applicable active licenses (e.g., Homeowners Property & Casualty, Designated Home State licenses, or Appraiser License).
