Provides leadership and direction for fiscal activities related to the Association, Foundation, and Workforce Investment Office to ensure sound management and compliance with SUNY, federal, and state guidelines.Prepares and maintains computerized ledger, related journals and support documentation for funds covered under the authority of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act and for other Workforce and College grant funds and scholarships.Manages the Foundations daily banking operations and investment activities, ensuring optimal returns and prudent stewardship of endowed and restricted funds.Manages accounting operations, including recording and verification of receipts, disbursements, payroll and other transactions.Prepares and presents comprehensive financial analyses and reports for key stakeholders, including but not limited to the Association and Foundation Boards.Manages daily banking operations, ensuring appropriate cash handling, fund allocation, and liquidity managementOversees the reconciliation of all accounts and the maintenance of accurate, auditable financial records.Coordinates annual audits, serving as lead liaison with independent auditors and ensuring timely submission of all documentation and management responses.Ensures compliance with tax reporting and filing requirements, maintaining transparency and adherence to institutional and regulatory standards.Provides guidance and fiscal training to student leaders, club advisors, and administrative staff to promote responsible financial stewardship.Performs other duties as required to advance the financial sustainability and operational excellence of the Association.
