Statetime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R1117203**Job Description:****Associate Creative Director, UI/Visual Design** **Overview** We are seeking an exceptional **Associate Creative Director (ACD), UI/Visual Designer** to lead the visual execution of the **primary website redesign** for one of our clients, a **leading fintech company.** This role is ideal for a hands-on design leader who blends world-class visual design craft with a strong understanding of UX and experience design principles. You will elevate an established enterprise brand, guide distributed teams, and ensure high-quality visual design delivery at scale. **Key Responsibilities** - Lead day-to-day design for a large enterprise website redesign. - Produce high-fidelity UI and visual design work (approx. 60% hands-on). - Oversee and direct two offshore UI/visual design teams (approx. 40% leadership). - Ensure design quality, consistency, and brand alignment across all outputs. - Collaborate closely with UX partners, internal brand teams, and Dentsu Creative. - Present work to executive stakeholders with confidence and clarity. - Partner cross-functionally with account, PM, UX, and India-based design teams. - Apply and evolve established design systems at enterprise scale. **Required Skills & Experience** - 8+ years of UI/visual design experience, including large-scale digital systems. - Portfolio demonstrating strong visual craft and brand-elevating design. - Ability to modernize, remix, and evolve existing brand systems. - Strong understanding of UX and experience design (approx. 30–40%). - Experience directing offshore or distributed design teams. - Expert proficiency in Figma. - Ability to handle asset adjustments in Adobe tools (Photoshop, etc.). - Familiarity with AI-enhanced design workflows (a plus). **Preferred Experience** - Agency background or experience in matrixed client environments. - Experience working within complex enterprise design systems. - Financial services, fintech, or similarly regulated industries (nice to have). **Work Style & Time Zone Expectations** - Chicago location ideal for occasional onsite collaboration in our Dentsu offices - Must work comfortably with teams across CST and India time zones. - Occasional evening calls (9–10 PM CST) during critical phases. - Ability to adapt working hours as needed for team collaboration. **Reporting Structure** - Day-to-day reporting to the Group Creative Director. - Solid-line reporting into Dentsu’s Visual Design practice (Lindsay or Damien). - Collaborative partnership with UX, PM, and India-based hands on design teams. **What Success Looks Like** - High-quality, brand-aligned UI delivered consistently and on schedule. - Clear orchestration of global teams with strong communication. - A portfolio of elevated, modernized, and scalable design work. **Additional Information**The anticipated base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
