Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented
Proposal Development Specialist
to support our Proposal team. This short-term contract role focuses on developing, reviewing, and managing proposal content in alignment with customer requirements and internal compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Contracts, Engineering, Program Management, and Business Development teams to develop compliant and compelling proposals.
Review RFPs, RFIs, and other procurement documents to identify requirements and draft response strategies.
Ensure all proposal content meets formatting, compliance, and organizational standards.
Assist with proposal production, submission, and follow-up.
Maintain version control and coordinate reviews and approvals across cross-functional stakeholders.
Support proposal scheduling and adherence to deadlines.
Qualifications:
Experience in proposal development, contracts, or related roles within aerospace, defense, or government contracting environments.
Knowledge of FAR/DFARS regulations and compliance standards.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and proposal management tools.
Prior experience on short-term or contract proposal engagements is a plus.
