Fuse Media is currently seeking an Account Executive to support the Ad Sales team by prospecting, selling and expanding the Company’s advertising revenue base. The ideal candidate will have a strong media sales background with a robust network of industry clients and prospects. This person will establish and grow a book of business and exceed pre‑established activity and sales quota utilizing CRM tools to document sales activity. This position reports to the head of ad sales and is based in New York, NY.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO: Generate profitable sales revenue while exceeding sales quotas and delivering a high level of customer service to media clients.
Maintain and build a book of national clients.
Proactively recognize and develop clients in target categories.
Identify, qualify, call on and establish long‑term business relationships.
Present the value of the Fuse audience; continually building a strong sales pipeline of well‑qualified client revenue opportunities.
Act as a consultative partner to executives in sales and finance to drive revenue and identify areas of opportunity using the best vehicle(s) to drive business growth efforts.
Utilize company CRM tool to track all sales activities and communications.
Manage and maintain sales reports, pipelines and forecasts.
Respond quickly to client and management requests.
Display original thinking and creativity; meet challenges with resourcefulness.
QUALIFICATIONS 7-10 years of B2B sales experience, selling video across streaming (CTV/FAST) digital video, linear and non-linear platforms, as well as branded entertainment and non-traditional media.
Bachelor’s degree in related field or an equivalent combination of skills, training and hands‑on experience.
Strong working relationships with major media agencies and client partners, including established connections with OMD and IPG. Experience with Publicis Media leadership a plus.
Must understand the TV/Streaming industry and competitive environment including knowledge of competitive product offerings.
Experience closing sales and generating revenue and new business.
Self‑motivated and results driven.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
Proven ability to engage with and influence others.
Ability to succeed in a challenging, rapidly changing media environment.
An entrepreneurial spirit with a positive attitude.
SALARY RANGE Total compensation package: $220,000 - $250,000 per year, inclusive of base salary and OTE commissions.
