The Corporate Paralegal provides legal support to the Legal Department and departments across the Company through legal research, contract review, document drafting, and issue analysis. This role is responsible for reviewing third‑party legal documents, tracking contract review timelines, researching legal issues relevant to the Company, and preparing Memoranda of Law to support Corporate Attorneys. The position also assists with drafting real estate documents as needed and serves as a key point of contact for internal legal inquiries. Primary Responsibilities

Review legal documents received from third parties through internal departments including Marketing, Store Engineering, Food Safety, Category Management, Petroleum, Risk Enterprise, Data Governance, and Production. Identify legal risks, omissions, or areas of concern and present findings and recommendations to the Corporate Attorney. Draft legal documents requested by internal departments for review by the Corporate Attorney. Provide regular status updates to departments regarding pending contract reviews. Track and manage deadlines to ensure corporate legal timelines are met. Respond to incoming calls and emails related to contract review and legal document requests, determining appropriate next steps and following up as necessary. Provide requested legal information and documentation to internal departments. Conduct legal research using Westlaw and other online research platforms to locate relevant cases, statutes, regulations, treatises, and model documents. Research legal issues and concepts relevant to Company operations. Draft Memoranda of Law summarizing research findings and legal analysis to support Corporate Attorneys. Monitor and research the status of litigation matters relevant to the Company. Assist the Legal and Real Estate Departments with drafting real estate documents related to property acquisition and sale, including easements, development agreements, and closing documents. Provide real property information and real estate documentation to internal departments upon request. Qualifications

Minimum: Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience working in the legal field as a paralegal Paralegal degree preferred but not required Notary Public license required or willingness to obtain Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Experience with Westlaw or a similar legal research platform required Strong understanding of legal, corporate, and real estate concepts Experience handling confidential information and managing conflicts of interest Ability to support a wide range of internal legal needs across departments Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and critical‑thinking skills Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and interpreting legal documents and research materials Strong grammar, spelling, and document formatting skills Proficient in legal research and document management tools Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross‑functional teams Strong attention to detail and follow‑through Ability to communicate effectively with attorneys, coworkers, vendors, and third parties
