About the Role The Sales Professional is responsible for developing new business and growing existing customer relationships across tankwagon fuel, lubricants, fuel services, and transport solutions within the Macon market. This role balances business development and account management while partnering cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer service and long-term account growth.
Responsibilities
Prospect and secure new business through cold calling, research, email outreach, and in-person visits
Maintain and grow an existing book of business
Prepare and present competitive quotes
Manage full sales cycle from prospecting to close
Track activity and pipeline in CRM
Collaborate with Credit, AR/AP, Supply & Logistics for smooth onboarding and account management
Meet or exceed sales goals
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred
5+ years of sales experience (petroleum or related industry preferred)
Required Skills
Strong prospecting and closing skills
Ability to manage both new business development and account retention
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Must not be under a non-compete agreement that conflicts with the role
Pay range and compensation package Base salary plus commission structure, vehicle allowance, full benefits package, and 401(k) with company match. Strong earning potential based on performance.
